What can this do for me?

Javascript can be used in a number of ways to enhance the appeal of a website. It is used in the navigation bar at the top of this page to create the colour change effects when the mouse moves over the text.

Here it was used to generate the popout for client area and contacts on the top right.

Here it is used to swap images to show a before and after shot.

Java can also be used to detect the size of the window that the browser has opened and then to position the page accordingly.

This was used on our front page to centre the table and so allow a large amount of text specifically for search engine optimization to be added without detracting form the simple clean design of the page.

We have also recently used javascript to replace flash for galleries on websites.  This allows the galleries to be visible on the ipad which does not support flash
